FAQ
What is the RNP and why does it matter for consortia?
The RNP (Registro Nacional de Proveedores) is Peru's National Registry of Suppliers, managed by OECE, the public procurement agency. Registration is required to take part in public tenders and sign contracts with the Peruvian State, including as a consortium member. The specific requirements for each member are set by the current regulations and by each tender's documents (bases).
Can foreign companies contract with the Peruvian State?
Yes. Under Peruvian procurement rules, foreign suppliers can register in the RNP, either through a branch in Peru or as a non-domiciled company. Requirements and procedures are set by OECE, so we recommend checking the current rules on the official gob.pe portal before bidding.
Which RNP registrations does Contratistas Aurus hold?
Four: supplier of goods, supplier of services, works contractor (ejecutor de obras) and works consultant (consultor de obras). You can check them on the official RNP certificate using our RUC (tax ID) 20612191621.
Do you also work on private projects?
Yes. We work for private companies, contractors and investors as well as for public entities.
In which regions of Peru can you work?
We work nationwide across Peru from our headquarters in Jaén, Cajamarca. The project location is factored into logistics and costs in each proposal.
In which language can we communicate?
Our team works in Spanish. Contact us via WhatsApp or phone.
